CRISIS CARE KIT / SCHOOL PAL PAK COLLECTION INFORMATION

The 2025 trip will be next spring. Summer time is a great time to collect items for School Pal Paks (July-August). They can be dropped off at Odon in the walkway between church and fellowship hall (24x7) or arrange a meet-up via email davel8257@gmail.com or phone call 812-486-5504. They will be stored until transport next spring.

Please be mindful of expiration dates on shampoo and toothpaste. Most stock levels have a 3 year shelf life; however, wholesale outlet stores that advertise deep discounts are selling items that are near the end of their shelf life. Please check for dates and refrain from purchasing these two items with less than 2 years of remaining shelf life. Plan on buying these items as close to next spring as possible and finish packing your CCK boxes then.

A recent change in the Fawn Grove warehouse requires them to open and check the contents of every box. Therefore, no taping is required. Also, because our boxes are packed in combination with many other boxes, please make sure the bottom flaps on each box are not hanging loose. (Duct tape is a good solution for this problem.). Please cut a piece of cardboard or use the heavy brown paper to cover the opening on the lid. This keeps the box from snagging on the box on top of it when they are loaded / unloaded.
