Leadership & Change in The Local Church - Steve Greene    (A)

The world around us is changing, but the gospel never does.  If we don’t understand and respond to the changes in our world, we won’t be able to share the gospel in a way that will make a difference.  Discover practical insights on how to lead an established church through a transition toward greater ministry effectiveness.

 

God's Grace Poured Out: The Theology & Celebration of the Sacraments-Todd Stepp (B)

In the Church of the Nazarene, like other Wesleyan Christians, we practice two sacraments: Baptism and the Lord's Supper.  In this workshop we will explore what we mean by the term "sacrament," as well as what we believe God is doing in each of the sacraments.  Further, we will look at practical suggestions for the celebration of each.

 

What Every Church Board Member Needs To Know   (C)

Learn what every Church Board member needs to know to help the local church succeed.  This session would be valuable for a veteran or rookie board member.

From the smallest of churches to the largest of churches, NMI can be alive and well. Our mission field is all around us. Learn how to make missions ALIVE in your church! We can be the Hands and Feet of Jesus both locally and globally!

You will learn about the new human sexuality statement that will be in our Manual as well as ways to interact with a rapidly changing world. A list of resources for individual and churches will also be highlighted.   

 

Vibrant Daycare/Preschool Ministry - Brian Rogers, Regina Heagle, Pam Ritter, and Sue Ragains(I)

Building relationships is the key to reaching people for Christ. One avenue to build lasting relationships with people in your community is through a vibrant Daycare / Preschool ministry.  Come and learn more about how you can make a difference in the lives of children and families around you by reaching out in this way.  You will hear from successful Daycare / Preschool directors from our district and be able to ask questions you may have about how to start or enhance a ministry like this in your local church. 

 

Recovery Ministry and Its Place in Your Church –Brett Cieslack(J)

This workshop will look at several aspects of W&W: How do you organize a project for your local church?
